This is probably more a "guy to guy" thing, but I had the owner a local recording studio turn me on to an audio book publisher and what's become a very nice account. I "innocently" got into a conversation with him about liquid spirits for a forthcoming party and found out his favorites. I got him bottles of the older, fancier versions of what he liked most. Well received.

I think this is a super cool gift but they are not exactly inexpensive. You can purchase portable USB Jump Drives and have your logo engraved on them. The price will depend on the memory option you choose. There are plenty of companies that do this and some REALLY COOL LOOKING drives too. Just Google USB Drives.

Also, you can send it PRE-LOADED with your latest demos!!!!!!!!

Good call Brian. I received a small USB jump drive from an equipment vendor and use it constantly.... with their logo shining on top.
I thought it was such a good idea, we're studying giving them out at our preview parties. (By the way, client appreciation parties, if your clients are mostly local, are always a big hit for us. The clients brag on coming and invite others that end up becoming clients. If they are not local, go where they may gather and host a suite.)

I found a great place last year and my computer died so I lost the url. However, I can still pick up half gig thumb drives for around $13.00 customized.

If any of you know of a better deal, please, please, please let me know.

Toodles

Cool! But it's a hard thing for everyone in the office to share. I was thinking some kind of edible treat...

I once had several pizzas, salad, and dessert delivered to my favorite agent's office the Friday before Labor Day. I thought sending a gift on Labor Day would be an appropriate time to do this, for an organization that had gotten me a lot of work (and worked hard on my behalf). It was very well received. I'm sure it also stood out from all of the holiday gifts floating around at the end of the year.

I also make a habit of sending Thanksgiving cards to my best clients, rather than Holiday cards - again, so I can stand out from the crowd.

What a great idea! Let's all do that!

I'M KIDDING.

It's good idea to send greetings anytime you think it's apporpriate. Keeping your greetings out of the holiday crush is one thing, joining it can be grand, too.

I'm going to send gifts for Tu B'Shevat. That'll give me a little more time to figure out what to send, too.
