I too am glad Anne's ok.
Perhaps it would help to consider that she's a bit more .. umm .. kinesthetic than you may be. If so, she was simply "feeling" the road as she went ... perhaps it's a way of driving via ... err.. braile?

Avoiding the pothole to hit the tree may not be such a bad thing.....compared to the other side of Europe:

I'm also glad to hear that Anne is okay. Mr. Banks did you lecture her about avoiding the potholes and leave out the part about the trees, per chance?

Me thinks the Mrs. may be up for Sainthood living and putting up with "himself".

I just bought my first new car in 12 years last month!
I just gave up my 12 year old / 190,000 mile Salturn SL1 (with the original clutch thank you very much!) for a 4-door/Manual tranny/ Mazda 3 Touring Sedan. LOVE IT!!!!
So far so good!....oh....but I am picking up Bob in Queens on the 16th....hmmmmm Shocked
