Don't go knockin' NC's heat wave...it was cold enough yesterday for me to do this:

Because everyone thought the slopes wouldn't be good, there was only a small crowd...it was GREAT! (albeit a bit foggy) _________________ Threadjackers local 420

This is just another day in paradise (behind the house here in Park City, Utah)...
Taken 21 December 2007.

I think it was extra chilly in San Diego last night. When I took "Mandi" out (10:00PM) for her final walk before bedtime... I noticed what I thought was dew on the car. I went to brush some off... it was already ice.
It's suppose to get down to 34 degrees tonight. _________________ "Bailey"

It was about 70 here again today.
Colder temps are on the way.
Down to the 30's tonight & then highs in the 50's. _________________ Mary |

We had our first frost last night. Our golf course had a 2 hour frost delay. It was 33 degrees at 7AM. I am growing plumerias and orchids in my mini-greenhouse. Everything is still alive. Thankfully, the days are warm. _________________ Bobbin Beam

Here are some pics from my back yard...before the rain today. I threw my back out raking the roof yesterday. Of course, I had to dig out the roof rake out of three feet of snow before I raked the snow off the roof. But still I love the winter. So for now I'm in the comfy chair: Heating pad, cold compress, beer. Repeat.
This is a picture of the icicles off my sun porch. Something about two feet long icicles that turn an 11 year old boy into an ice age polar region hunter.

It is 75 in my neck of the woods. For many it is Christmas at the beach. _________________ Gregory Best
