Greetings from Louisiana, Donna! I've been to your neck o' the woods...hubby is from Brentwood. I'd kill for some chicken & wild rice soup from St. Louis Bread Company about now. _________________ Mary |

Welcome Donna! You'll like it here. I'm learning so much. And the peeps are fab. Just reading the posts is great support, comfort, and encouragement to me and it's fun.
Is Kirkwood anywhere near Kirksville? My hubby flew there a couple of years ago for an Osteopathic seminar/visit.
Good luck and welcome again. Stick around for the long-term!!! _________________ Intuit and do it!

Welcome Donna From Upstate, NY!
Jurassic, here.
Yep...I'm old enough, too! First reel-to-reels (when I started in "The Game" in 1983), then cassettes, and, an ample supply of blades & splicing tape...dem were da days!
At least now the studios don't get a "cut" of my moola!

Greetings from a Triassic dino. Reels, razors and tape -been there. "One take, straight to cart." Done that. Demos on cassette, got 'em.
Welcome to the virtual water cooler, congratulations for taking the step out of lurk mode (kinda scary but well worth it!) This is the best place online - evah. _________________ Moe Egan

Moe,
Oh yeah, and sometimes with a TM Century jingle slip-cued and mixed live from LP, to boot. _________________ Be well,

Oh, my--how about working for a radio station that required you to wind your own carts?
Yeah, Audiogal, there are some busy weeks when BreadCo is my second home. Never get tired of it.
And Todd, I don't know how long it's been since you visited, but the Magic House is under construction yet again--it's a mud pit right now, but will be bigger and better than ever.
Stefania, Kirkwood is near the eastern border of Missouri, next to St Louis. Kirksville is north, near Iowa, and is also where my daughter is going to school!
This is the best welcome ever! Thanks, everybody! |
