All I can say is:

WOW!!

We had a great time in our workshop yesterday. Everyone is SO very talented... it is truly amazing. As each person was reading, I could totally imagine hearing them on a national campaign. No fooling. I think this was one of the first workshops I've been to where the talent were all on the same playing field in terms of talent. Everyone that was there had "it."

Peter focused on the commercial part of class, which was fantastic. Then Randy did the promo portion of class - she gave us a chance to read to sound bytes (kinda like reading to picture but just audio) as well as to read to picture. Very cool. For the read to picture part, she did it through SoundStreak. I think everyone enjoyed seeing how that works and experiencing that technology.

Brian, Doug, and Glenn are three VERY talented guys. I was so excited to meet all of them!!! I was kinda meeting Glenn for the first time - he is truly amazingly talented, and has such a great sound. I was really excited to meet Brian and Doug, as I've interacted with both of them either by phone or email, in the past. It was cool b/c it's like meeting someone for the first time, but you know them, so you're not REALLY meeting them for the first time. That being said, I'm really very thankful for the friends I've made on this board, and it's just so cool to solidify those relationships by meeting in person. Love it.

Awesome weekend. That's all I can say!! Brian took pics with that very nifty camera of his, so I'm sure he'll post in due time.

Thanks. Somehow the drive seemed much longer on the way back. I ended up leaving pretty early so I could get home in time to play with the boo bear before he went to bed.

Anyway, I've posted the pic of the VO-BB members in Entre Nous in case any of you didn't want it out for the world to see.
