My recurring dream was walking into the studio to start my traffic shift to find I had no monitor or computer or ISDN and as I scrambled to find the engineer - who was busy on other things - I started missing reports. When I found another studio I tried to catch up but whenever I did one it bumped into my window for the next one and I missed that and they all cascaded. Then at the end of the shift I realized I had completely forgotten a station.

I had that dream on and off for years.

my recurring dream of many years is being back on the air, my record has run out, and I can't find the RIGHT next record to play (records were the vehicle of choice in 80's radio)....there are all kinds of records, but they are either the wrong format, or not from the right category according to the music clock, etc.....

I think the last time I played a record on the air was in early 1974. In February of that year I went to a station that had three turntables in the studio but I never used one. We also had 16 cart machines (three 5-deckers and a single) and all the music was on cart.

While we're on the subject, I have noticed that virtually all the nightmares are associated with radio rather than voice over.
