Yay for you, Caryn. Best wishes on following the path to your dream. Hopefully you have stashed at least 6 months to a year of savings to keep life running smoothly and for those unexpected contingencies while you "ramp up" the new business.

WOW... thanks Doug and Ben!! I've been out of town for a couple of days, and I come back to this... you made my day!!!

I've never met Doug in person, and we've only spoken on the phone once. He's a super nice and helpful guy. And, I have to say, he is the ultimate pro... not only just with the voice (it's beautiful), but he's FUNNNNEEEEEE (all the while being professional). He was a wonderful husband... even though he thought I was crazy in the commercial!! Smile

I hope we get the chance to work together again too!! It was a lot of fun!!!

Full time is going well... when I first joined this board, I think I recall someone saying their goal for the year was to book one job a day. That's my goal - at least 5 gigs a week. I had 4 this week (and I only worked 2.5 days). Granted, the 4th job came when I was standing in the hotel check-in line, my cell phone rang, and of course they needed it NOW, but I found a studio in the town I was in who was very reasonably priced, and did it... everyone's happy!

You guys are awesome. I really appreciate all of the support!!!!!!!!!!!
