| Quote: | | Anyone know the head of NBC? This is just so silly. Like Michael Douglas needs to do this - like Michael Douglas is even right for this -. |
I was at 30 Rock today and asked about Michael Douglas as the voice of Nightly. It seems Brian was at a party and asked Douglas if he would be the voice. He said yes and he is doing it for scale.
They did hold auditions a few month back but I guess a celeb voice was what Brian wanted, _________________ A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. |

I don't know why that didn't make it.
Of course this is not the first time a celeberty voice has been used for the open back in the 60's Richard Kiley was the voice. They then went back to a staff announcer Vic Roby who was the voice. Another staff was Bill Hamerhan who did Huntley Brinkley. The last staf announcer was Howard Rieg who along with Don Pardo are the last of NBC's staff they both have lifetime contracts. _________________ A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. |

I love the quotes on Remy's website:
- "a YouTube star" - Fox News
- "Our favorite!" - CNN
- "Our second favorite..." - Remy's parents |
