That's cool Izzy... but do you think I can do that or would it be too similar to iPod stuff? _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!

I don't know... I wouldn't do it just like the image that's on there. Maybe it's something your designers could work with. Take that concept and add your "attitude" and "style" to it. Perhaps then it would be unique enough to where it's not like the ipod spots... But still "Hip & Cool". |

I'm very partial to Page 3... bottom.
B&W... always acceptable.
The beak... of the chick... is easily recognizable.
The only thing I would change...
Add the sound waves of Page 2... bottom, to the right of the beak in Page 3... bottom, and make it the same shade of gray as "THE HIP CHICK VOICE". The gray colored sound waves will carry association with the tagline and the inner C of the logo. _________________ "Bailey"

I have a few thoughts on this revision and I hope the ideas are helpful.
1. I’m not hatin’ what you have now for your branding.
Which brings me to a solely marketing question: why are you making a change?
Has there been a plethora of feedback from many valued clients or prospects that the branding you have now poorly represents you? That would be a very strong reason to make a change.
Are you changing the focus of your services and therefore your branding should reflect that change? That would be a reasonable cause for change?
Is the change just because you want something different? Um, time to tap the brakes then, I think.
Before you make this change you need to gauge what impact your current branding has ALREADY had in your target market place. You may not be aware that everyone LOVES your branding and might be unhappy to see it go. Or maybe you know they hate it. I don’t know…you’ll have to figure that one out.
2. Do you want to rebrand or refresh?
The images I saw are a rebranding effort…totally new look and feel. That’s not a bad thing if that’s what’s called for.
Only you know that.
3. My thoughts.
I think from an iconographic standpoint, with the hip chick tag, nothing could be better than the chick icon you have now. It’s fresh, cute, memorable, bright and it speaks directly to your positioning statement which is also your point of difference in your competitive marketplace. Many VO’s have nothing close to that.
Some idiots have an old style microphone and a crappy lower case times new roman font and…oh wait, never mind.
Leave the chick.
Don’t like the lettering? OK, let’s look at fonts and colors and work around that but keep chick icon. Refresh, don't rebrand.
My recommendation would be to take the logo styles on the bottom of page 4, remove the lips (which are a terrible icon) and simply replace it with the chick. Play with colors and you’re done.
I hope this helps. _________________ - Peter
