For those of you who are interested ................
I couldn't live with accoustic/battleship grey so out came the trusty staple gun and something in a more pleasant colour. |

All those building supplies and strained backs and we get a 4' x 6' padded room? I was expecting at least an annex to Balmoral Castle!
Ah, but it's your new space and I'm sure it's lovely to work in. A man's home is his castle and his announce booth the bridge to his starship.

The idea was to create more space for home and use less space for work. Didn't quite get what we wanted but it's a work in progress. Next phase is get the plans for an extention at the back of the house, repair exterior walls in the area where the Wee Huttie used to live, move new bits into where ...... It just goes on and on. At the moment what pays the bills works fine but other than that, welcome to Terminal 5 Heathrow.
For the record, Gold Series booth from VocalBooth - Awful. Bad accoustics, very poor sound reinforcement. I was lucky that my booth was bought from someone as an ex-display model so it was only $3500 as opposed to over $5000. Had the time been available I would've built my own. |

Fantastic! Actually, I'm looking for that kind of chair for my recording work, when I feel like sitting down. I'm thinking about going to Wilkinsons next week and see what they've got on offer.
