I intend to plead my case in letter form.

I actually don't mind puffing up the coffers of LA a tiny bit---everything just looked so clean and nifty. Even the busses are cool.

So... it's a "coolness surcharge"... what the hell.

I just wish I had had the presence of mind to take a photo of the confusing sign jumble.
