I was expecting a Radio Disney Hall of Fame gallery with Kara's picture framed in gold and highlighted with a single spot. Never found it. What a disappointment.
Other than that it was so good to meet Bob, Justin, Amanda & Allan, Amber & J.D. I hope we can do it again as some of the folks who originally planned to attend had to cancel. Bummer.
I have my own pix but they are mostly the same as Bob's with the addition of a number of Radio Disney images. These were for my wife's students. They are in the R-D demographics and were thrilled to see them. _________________ Ron Phillips

Ron,
You didn't see that shine for Kara over in the corner of the air studio when we were in there? _________________ Be well,

Sorry Bob I missed it. I was too dazzled by the Hannah Montana poster. I also forgot rule #1 in photography. Never shoot a reflective subject head on.

Hahah!
My mom always had a great saying, "It's like sticking your hand in a bucket of water, removing it, and expecting to see a hole."
I've learned that radio moves on quickly when ya leave
I do miss that station the way it was when I was there...it would be wonderful to see it again! Of course, things are never the same...
I'm hoping to make a lengthy trip to Dallas in the future- so maybe we can plan a second meet up and tour?? _________________ Threadjackers local 420

Wait a minute!!!! I was looking at the pictures again and saw what I thought was a smudge. I enlarged it and voila. The Kara Edwards tribute I was looking for. Thank goodness. All is right with the world again.

There she is! Wow- the memories associated with that mic...
Actually (true story here), I was distracted one day and my on-air partner, Kyle, says hey- we're on! I grab the mic which had been pushed away from me and swing it around. The stupid thing becomes disconnected from the arm and slams into my mouth full force. Bloodied my lip and made for a great on-air 'smack- umph' sound.
Maybe I do deserve a mic in my honor! _________________ Threadjackers local 420

Are the Radio Disney facilities still in the same complex as the ABC radio networks? Had a chance to tour the building back in 2000 while in Dallas for an affiliate conference. Sweet digs! _________________ Joe Szymanski

Joe,
Yes, they are. And you're right, they're very nice facilities. _________________ Be well,

If any body knows of any VO's in Des Moines IA or Omaha NE, I'll be there Monday and Tuesday.
If fact if any one knows or can find anyone in those two cities, please advise. _________________ - Peter
