I now know today has been busy. Email from Creative Director in Germany thanking me for my work during a session this morning. I genuinely did not remember doing it so had to check ...Possibly an age thing.

0115 BST Found a faster way of getting from the top of the stairs to the bottom. It hurt, a lot. Opting for the traditional method of ascent/descent in future.

We think we can handle it... then every once in a while gravity bites us in the arse. For the bruising, I recommend the internal application of a good single malt scotch.

I did my small part for the Boston Marathon. They apparently have hundreds of volunteer "observers" I guess we'll call them, and I narrated a couple of videos they viewed on how to spot suspicious people and packages and how to report them to authorities. Sad it had to be done, glad I got to do it.

Blah, blah, blah.... I'm afraid that my business model (and workload) does not lend itself to this project. I wish you luck in finding a suitable voice... maybe try Voice123 with your stated budget... you will probably find a number of suitable submission from people who's business model gives them time to become involved. Your project looks interesting, but as a full-time VO, I cannot allocate time to this at the moment.

$50 for a Attenborough-style wildlife documentary narration... what I really wanted to say was "you've got to be 'effing joking!"

Museum emails me to say they will have a script for audio stops at the end of May. They will need them by the end of June. Can I do it? Hmmm, I suppose I can make time for that. Snicker. I love these guys because it is never, "I need this yesterday."
