If this has come up before, forgive me.
Got quite a shock today as I went to start ProTools LE on my XP laptop...Protools would not start! I tried whatever I could think of including removing and re-installing ProTools--nothing.
After a good amount of hair-pulling and colorful language, I finally figured out what it was: I had just updated my Internet Explorer to version 8. Apparently, version 8 has some strange issue which interferes with ProTools LE. I rolled back to IE version 7, tried ProTools, and it popped right up.
Just in case anyone else runs into this... |
