For years I used Google because the home page was clean and clear. The search function seemed good enough, and I have become a master of finding things. Actually perseverance seems to be the key.
Now I am switched to BING and here is why. Every time I entered SaVoa the search would present SaVoa and every time it also presented “did you mean; Savoya”.
No I never meant SaVoya I meant SaVoa. I searched and found a customer service number. Not to much customer service there.
So I did a search at Bing for my most favorite web site SaVoa and low and behold Bing found it and did not challenge my pick.
BTW Google keeps records on every search you or I make on their site forever. That is the best reason to switch.
I am most probable going to go back to FireFox for browser service. _________________ Esse quam videri "To be rather than to seem"

I'm glad Bing finds SAVOA with such alacrity. Unfortunately, I have found that, as a "decision engine," Bing has mostly prompted me to decide to stick with Google. It's true that Bing does not return nearly as much useless "noise" in its searches; unfortunately, neither does it seem to return nearly as much in the way of useful results, as well. At least that's been my experience.
It is pretty, though. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Morning Lee
The major reason for leaving was mostly the attitude that Google has toward helping. Kind of like how United Airlines did this guy when they broke his guitar http://vodpod.com/watch/1871174-united-airlines-breaks-guitars (BTW this is a hoot)
Here is my experience with BING; I have a LP gas boiler that heats my home. It’s rather hi-tech and has a 92% efficiency rating (Heat of Combustion to Hot Water transfer).
The installer knows nothing about fixing it. I had to find info about the boiler. Using Google it took me 2 week of off and on to searching to find the information I wanted. Using BING (using the same search words) BING returned the same info it took me a looong time to find with Google. Bing did it in one search.
Its all a matter of preference, I have moved on and Google is not a search engine I consider slim and trim. Their noise floor is too high for me. _________________ Esse quam videri "To be rather than to seem"
