It’s a new year, not THE new year as there have been several. This one is what I like to call 2010. As we’re here, well I’m here, you’re there but we are severally co-joined by the annus current I thought I'd give you some tips for making progress in your business stroke career ……..Sorry I mean business/career.
C – Create an environment in which you can succeed. Destroy anything negative and murder any negative people. A revolver is quick an axe is both fun and fabby exercise.
H – Healthy eating keeps your mind dull. Most people who eat well and exercise are real dullards with the intellect and wit of a breakfast cereal. Eat pies regularly.
E – Ego is your friend. Always remind people how GREAT you are. Post, blog and tattoo affirming statements on their loved ones.
V – Victory is for winners so adopt a winning attitude with one eye on how best to cheat to get to where you want to go.
V – Volvo is a reliable, safe motor car made in Sweden RELIABILITY AND SAFETY IS FOR SISSIES!!!
Y – You should ensure that you have the gift of being able to turn the subject of any conversation around to what you want to talk about …YOU! No it’s not rude it’s networking.
N – New concepts have to be invented so steal ideas as it’s much easier.
O – Obfuscate where and whenever possible and allow others to mislead themselves.
V – Volvo is a reliable, safe motor car made in Sweden RELIABILITY AND SAFETY IS FOR SISSIES!!! In the UK they are driven by people who go to Farmer’s Markets on a Sunday having spent $350 on groceries the day before.
A – Achieve success by focusing and centering your inner outward values then simply break them down into a list of the 1095 you need to do. Do one thing before breakfast, lunch and supper every day and by the end of the year it’ll be 31st December …Awesome eh?
Go for it doods! |

Philip,
Your list reminds of the lesson General Motors learned the hard way when trying to market the Chevy Nova in Latin America many years ago. "No va" means "it doesn't go" in Spanish. Needless to say, they didn't sell many Novas in that part of the world. _________________ Be well,

Yes. A volvo would be a welcome addition to the driveway. By the way, Philip how did you did you spend your New Year's Eve? _________________ Bobbin Beam

T'was open house in Cathcart Street but as the weather prevented people from driving in a straight line for more than 10 yards it was not a cast of 1,000's. Nibbles, Sherry, Port, Champagne to toast the arrival of 2010 and a Higland Park single malt night cap. Every 31st December BBC2 TV broadcast Jules Holland Hootananny which is wall to wall live music and "da bells" at midnight. Perfect evening, including the dog walks along a snow covered beach. |
