Hey Gang--

I am trying to track down a story I seem to recall reading in my late elementary school years. It took place in and Eastern country like India and it was something about mirrors, large mirrors being ordered from Europe to line a hall in something like the Taj Mahal. When they arrived, they were all broken--smashed, but the designers used the little pieces in the plaster anyway and the result was far more beautiful and amazing than the whole mirrors ever would have been.

Anybody ever heard this?
