VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Back in November and December I did some radio and TV spots for the national touring company of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. After checking out their website, I was under the impression the nearest tour stop to me would be Providence, RI so I was not expecting to see or hear my spots on the air.

Yesterday, as I was watching the game between the Vikings and the Saints, my TiVo needed to record programs on both tuners, neither of which was tuned to the game. So I went upstairs to watch the game on another TV, one that I don't use very often and in fact, the last time I did, it had a wierd habit of spontaneously turning itself on, often in the wee hours.

Following the thrilling conclusion of the football tilt, I turned off the set and went back downstairs. Some time later, I heard a sound emanating from upstairs. The old TV was back to its old habits and had turned itself on. So I went up and turned it off.

Quite a bit later (between 3:30-6 AM), as I was in bed, I heard a sound coming from the next room. But this time it was familiar. It was my Beauty and the Beast commercial. Apparently the show is also playing in Waterbury, CT and at the precise moment that my TV decided to turn itself on again, my commercial was running on the station that had been showing the football game hours earlier.
