I have a question for Sound Forge users that may seem obvious, but for some reason I have not been able to figure out.
Its certainly not a deal breaker, but why is there a small gap between the waveform/region and the end of the edit window?? I've tried to change the region length in the event list, and it still remains the same

Sound Forge doesn't automatically do that. You should be able to do it with horizontal zooming, but I'm not sure if there is a way to make a global setting to do it. It would be a nice feature though, kind og like Word's "text to window."
There may be a setting hidden away somewhere, I only found recently that cubase can do this (well..sorta..) _________________ Mandarin Chinese Voiceovers & Localization

I can horizontal zoom and the waveform fills up the right side of the edit window, but the last part of it chopped off and hidden.
I can horizontal zoom in Audition and the entire wave form conforms to the size of the edit window.
Here's basically what I'm talking about

the recorded region automatically defaults to a set length that doesn't quite fit, and fill up the entire edit window. |

Sure, thats what I thought you meant. I don't think there is any way around that. I been using SF since v3, and I don't recall it ever fitting into the window automatically. But its never really bugged me. I am usually working with long files, so would be impractical to have it fit. _________________ Mandarin Chinese Voiceovers & Localization
