				| Hi Dustin, I think you have that sought after "young" sound.
One thing that bothered me about the 1st demo was the way the clips overlapped. I think you should let each phrase finish and cut clean to the next.
 Good luck!
 John

				| I agree. No crossfades. You want jumpcuts. Great sound, though! _________________

				| I think you're pretty good!
 On the non-announcer:

 1. It was hard to follow it, so it was hard to tell if you were good or not on first listen. I might not lead with it.
 2. Pretty good
   3. I don't buy it. Too serious for your voice, or you need to work on this kind of read.
 4. Dentist piece was great.
 5. The restaurant piece could be helped with a faster tempo

I might consider starting with the Dentist or a faster Restaurant.

Oh, and I know that this is going to sound snobby, but I think it's great to hear a guy from Tulsa sounding fresh and hip. I know there are loads of people in cities like Tulsa that are...but you don't necessarily hear it in the VOs of the market. You should kill it there!

				| Agreed, you sound good. Agreed, no crossfading.

Also, can you lose the "announcery" woman and silly sound effect ahead of each demo? Intros are on their way out and why delay a producer one more second from hearing you talk?

Your non-announce demo was kind of weird. First, I've never heard of such a thing, and second, everything sounded kind of like it was read by an announcer....sorry. I'd take like the last cut of that (TexMex) and slip it into your main demo, and maybe lose something unneeded like the Mercedes clip (dude, you're too young sounding to own a Benz) to make room.

 Have fun!

				| Yep, Fix the edits. Lose the intro - when you get an agent they will put that on.
I like both your youngish voice and your warm "colored" voice. I would like to hear just one or two more emotions in the commercial demo for contrast.

I really like this, but it needs some improvement. I'll give this 3 stars out of 5.

				| Thanks for the quick & helpful feedback! It's just what I needed to hear. I will remove the slate and fix the cuts ASAP. I'll also remove the Mercedes clip
 Much appreciation,
 Dustin

				| It's funny about age and voices. I'm sure he's old enough to own a Benz, but what we're accustomed to tells us no. We're used to VOs to sound older and deeper than real-world voices. I'm freakin' FORTY and people are calling my voice "young" and I'm getting booked for educational stuff for kids and doing really young voices. Not what I thought I was... _________________
