GULP !!! Shocked

Not absurdly expensive???? Assuming I looked at the right price list $2,500 to $3,500 seems a to be tad absurd to me...

I built mine for about $75.00 worth oak, a couple of brass hinges, a couple of quite fans, stain and stuff, some dryer vent hose and a few screws and such... oh, cost $15.00 for a piece of glass and some assorted molding...and some wheels, they were $8.00.

It's quiet enough that I can turn up my mic in the room and you hear nothing on the recording... no air, no nuttin'

So 'quiet boxes' need not be expensive to work well. It's the MacGuyver in me I guess... "Do what you can with what you have...."

I saw some really dandy ones on the expo floor for about $1000.

Still steep-- but not as nutty as the ones you saw on their site.
