VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

A few of you know already, but to make it official; I am leaving Ohio and moving to Portland, OR at the end of the month. If all goes well, we should be settled into our new digs on June 1. My studio has to be up and running that night. To prepare, I made a few phone calls to find an ISDN provider. Qwest was who I was recommended to call.

Five years ago, it took three hours to find someone at my current provider to order the installation and find a long distance carrier. Qwest on the other hand, took 15 minutes...total. The initial representative had to ask his manager next to him who to connect me to, then a very helpful man, Cesar Perez, handled the rest of the order. Amazing.

I've found with Qwest if you talk to the right people you get great results. Anyone else there and they can't even spell ISDN. You apparently found the right folks. One more load off your mind. ✔

So, I am currently on hold trying to cancel my current service. Been transferred five times, put on hold six times, lost four games of Bejeweled, and the final time of service was 25 minutes. To be honest, they beat my expectation.

One more thing checked off the list.

Ben and I are meeting up for dinner, next Wednesday. I only agreed if he brought tissues along with him.

Don't mind at all. Ben was going to bring his toe lint collection, so you would be a welcome distraction. Bring Eric along, too, if you like. Don't know the time or place yet. Ben? Thoughts? Tanks, again?
