We are stopped for the night in Henrietta, NY.
Didn't even make it as far a Buffalo! It's nice to just take the trip as it happens.

We didn't end up on the highway until 11:30 this morning, and I only got about 4 hours' sleep so I am wicked glad to be in a nice motel. We can sleep until we wake up, grab a bit and hit the road again.

Audiobooks are the bomb for long drives!!

I'm sorry that I'm going to miss you as you travel through my part of the world. My flight back from LA doesn't land until after dinner time tomorrow evening. Well, maybe when I'm back in LA in July I can catch up with you?

Actually I have heard that the inside of a car is one of the best recording environments!

If you run out of audiobook material and can find it, "The Betrayal Game"--set in 1962 Havana, and narrated by George Guidall, is a great one. I was sorry when it came to the end.

BTW if you are able to drive any of Route 66 on the way to LA it is definitely a scenic route

Wild times in the land of numbers yesterday.

I'd love to blunder by to see people if I can, I just don't have any idea when I'm going to be anywhere. We had hoped to make it to buffalolst night, but just didn't get that far.

One day at a time. I will take pix when I can— It's not easy to do when you're driving!
