Our electrician has been here this week taking care of some things.
I asked him about doing something to address the occasional hum I get in my recordings (usually from my Apogee Duet--only occasionally)
He mentioned using a grounded, heavy-duty wire that is run to a separate thingamajig so it doesn't pick up current from other electrical devices.
Worth doing? Could it make a difference----not only with occasional hum but with noise floor in general.
Just wondering if any of you have any experience with this. Thanks! |
