Wow! Has it been two years since I posted here? Where does the time go? I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their success. Me? I'm not in the VO business any longer. I'm a full time husband, father and student. In that order.
The reason I'm writing today is because I have a programming assignment for school and I thought this would be the place to offer my skills as a developer while earning my grade for this class. I'm a PHP/MySQL expert but I still have to do the assignment. :D
So, are their any web development niches that you need filled? Anything you'd like streamlined on your website? Can we all be in agreement about something that would benefit all?
Anyone can send an email for a client to fill out to quote a job. Years ago I offered Script Buddy elsewhere in the forum but now it's time to scratch a new itch.
Got any ideas for me? Should I pick up my toys and play in someone else's yard? Let's hear from ya.
Be well. _________________ David |

Dave,
I don't have an assignment for you, but I'm glad to see you back however briefly. _________________ Be well,

lemme get this straight: you're offering your expertise in PHP to us? For Free? If so, you may just be my new best friend. _________________ Jeff

dave! honest to pete, i was thinking of you the other day when one of the vo-bb regulars went out with a flair, saying he was giving it up. i thought of your thoughtful post of 2 years ago whereby you told us of your new pursuits, so i'm happy to have this update. maybe your ears were ringing?
but alas, i've nothing to offer in response to your question... _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

I have actually been trying to get my site updated with a fresh facelift for about two years. And I actually have all the graphics for the new look. I just need someone who can put it together in a slick, clean fashion with new trendy audio players. Is this in line with what you're offering, Dave? If so, contact me! _________________ Scott R. Jeff,
Yup, that's straight. I'd like to find a project that all may benefit from rather than individual pieces of code here and there. Any ideas? _________________ David |

Scott,
Well, I'm not so much looking to update a website. I'm looking to solve a long standing problem or issue dealing with a website using PHP/MySQL development. _________________ David |

I'm not one of the 'ol timers here, remembering you from your previous tenure. However any comments are welcome, and since you asked........
I have a new site, assembled from the basic (free) WYSIWYG kinda software offered by budget web host companies. I discovered I can embed mp3 media, but only with playback on players from Quicktime, Windows Media, Real Media, etc. These players all want their proprietary software installed, and it doesn't seem to follow convention for media players that play well with each other. Can you point me in the right direction? Would uploading an mp3 to an ftp site rather than embed enable playback from a generic open-source player? Any other suggestions?
Thanks for taking time to read through this; hope it makes sense! _________________ If attacked by a mob of clowns go for the juggler.
