Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have a couple of mics for sale on eBay that some of you may be interested in.
The 416 is here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120597700639&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
and the U195 is here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120598448368&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
The 416 sounds great but looks a bit rough, hence the low starting bid. However, in your studio, covered with a windscreen, nobody will notice and with new ones going for over a grand, this may be a chance for someone starting out (like me) to pick up a bargain.
The Soundelux (Bock) U195 is in great shape and comes with the box and a really nice Peluso shock mount. It is a very well-regarded mic out there on the net and it sounds great, but needs a preamp with some gain to it as it has a lower output than some other mics. It just did not fit with my voice as well as some other mics I have, so I am hoping it will find a good home.
I also have a Great River ME-1 NV preamp with rack arms in mint nearly new condition that I am considering putting up on eBay, but would love to entertain offers from this group first. As many know, this is a really nice and clean top of the line preamp and this example is in perfect condition with box and manual and $89 set of rack arms.
I am letting it go because I just lucked into a John Hardy 990 Twin Serve preamp over on eBay and it turns out that Mr. hardy himself lives just down the street from me!
Thanks for looking and please feel free to ask any questions on the gear, or anything else, via PM or email at mail (at) hestoft (dot) com
