Do you remember in the movie Poltergeist when Carole Ann is stuck in the TV? There is a reverse reverb effect that sweeps up to her words and I am looking to re-create something similar. Do you know how to do this? Would you please share it with me?

What is your editing software?

This effect is easily done in Adobe Audition or Sony Vegas, by reversing the audio file, applying the effect, then re-inverting the audio to it's normal mode.
