A character sampling for a darker more epic genre of story. There is added reverb only to give a sense of location of the characters. As always, most humbled thanks for listening. It really means the world.

Be safe,

This isn't really a demo. You need lots of characters that show range, not just one or two with reverb.

It seems all previous advice has been ignored.

Apologies for addressing it as a reel; as I do not necessarily define it as one myself. It's more so (as in previous times) a test of progess to the final product.

Like checking your parts in the assembly line before the final product is out of the factory.

Never ignored. Just building.

I said "resonance" I meant "reverb"

For Gods sake Daniel you're missing the point. You always have.

This is not about how you labeled your audio file, it's about how you do not take direction; about how you won't even try it our way once, even though you seek our advice.

The product you continually post is akin to a 12 year old boy on his bedroom floor, with a tape recorder, having fun making noises.

There is no acting, no character, no depth, no meaning in your "product". This is rubbish.

Sorry for my Simon Cowell,

No. It's ok. I understand. I think it would be more clearly understood if we were working together in the studio.

I've only had this kind of consistently bad judgment from you guys, not to credit myself, but when I do work with people on projects great things happen for them in the light of their opinion. No these are not amateurs. I'm currently working with a 30 year Los Angeles Audio Engineer and Voice Over veteran on my Reel for the past few months. It comes as a trade off for a Radio Theatre project I did several voices for. (The writer/creator was amateur, but Bill (VO/engineer) was not.

I give the explanation not for a case of narcissism, but just for the sake of clarity. It seems on here I am much more shallow and unprofessional than I would be if you found me in the studio or on stage.

But I refuse to let myself get caught up in alms. So I return here, making sure I am still in right place in my head, because once we credit ourselves, our momentum can die down.

You guys keep me going, and that can not go unforgotten.

No matter what people say about Simon Cowell, everyone can agree that his opinion and expertise are valuable and worth listening to.

Perhaps we've gained some insight as to Simon's curmudgeonly manner here. NOT that I think you're a curmudgeon Mike- far from it.

Irrelevant. You're never going to GET in the studio with that demo or the demos you've posted previously.

Posting the credits of the people you've worked with doesn't mean anything here. No one is impressed by that. All that matters is what YOU bring.

Indeed Moe

There was only one person on Idol that everyone inspired to please, that was Simon. Because they knew he told the unabashed truth, and he often said what most were thinking, as bitter as that pill was.

Location makes no difference, it either works or it does not.

No. It would play pretty much the same in any arena.

Why not? And which alms are you refusing to be caught up in?

I've had similar concerns also.

Daniel,

If I can echo Jeffrey's concerns.

When I read this on your V123 site...
Quote:
Film Coaching -Alan Dyseter
Voice Coaching- Marc Graue
Voice Coaching- J.S. Gilbert
Voice Coaching- Marc Cashman
Voice Coaching - Pat Fraley

... and listen to your "demos", I'm a bit confused.

I'll pay good money to be in the same Cashman class as Daniel.
