Of course we need the "Voice Over appreciation sandwich".

I'm thinking Cajun style chicken and prawns (shrimp), mayo, lettuce and cucumber between two slices of wholewheat.

yay for the month! now, does that mean we get to specify what celebrity Director our Client needs to sound like in our headphones?

"think scorsese as you're directing this copy..."

the possibilities are further explored on RG's Clogged Blog

I take the opposite approach. In keeping with the desire of so many VO clients to cram 66 seconds of copy into a :60 second spot, I think National Voiceover Appreciation Month should run 34 days.

I agree with Lee. I think a couple of days should be added a few weeks later--and I'll want those for free.

i think if we really try - we can get the month in in 24 days, and make it sound just as good.

Yes. If we can cut out that annoying habit of breathing, I think we could gain a day or two.

I've been told that I won't be paid for this month, but it will be good experience and sound great on my reel.

Come to think of it, in October we're just going to have to do it over.
