|
|
Here's a good one: I have a client in Israel whose own client is making a big switch to using online ads on the web (I presume before feature content).
I've looked at the AFTRA rules but can't really pin down if this is covered more than in a vague way as yet.
It's voicing an ad for a national brand. I don't know where it's airing, but I don't think it's in the US.
Any suggestions? _________________ Perry Anne Norton VO

Perry,
As far as I recall, the AFTRA code doesn't have a rate for online only content. It's whatever you negotiation, plus the additional fees and contributions (H&R, agents, etc.) _________________ Be well,

Starting April 2011 there are specific rates for commercials made for internet, new media etc. and I believe they're the same as the move over rates. I think there's an 8 week option and a year option - if you go to the AFTRA website - look under contracts and then commercials main rates you should find them. |
