Art Gilmore, the great voice of movie trailers (50s and 60s) and radio and TV has died at the age of 98.
He was a pioneer in the Voicing business and was always willing to help others.
He was also the voice of Highway Patrol -- the Red Skelton show and Chrusler theatre back in the 50s -- introducing that show with this:
"Chrysler Corporation, makers of Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto, Chrysler, and the magnificent new Imperial, the cars of The Forward Look"
Also the voice of "the world tomorrow" featuring Garner Ted Armstrong on radio.
He was also a world war two vet
You can hear him frequently on Film trailers on Turner Classic Movies.
RIP
