OK, so it's pretty small, but 10 words for money is still a paying gig!
Between this and the ongoing classes I'm taking, I'm really enjoying my steps into the world of VO work. Been absent from here for a bit, due to day job and illness considerations, but figured if I was going to share this news with anyone it should be you fine folks. _________________ Corey "Vox Man" Snow

Technically, they haven't given me the money yet, but absolutely. _________________ Corey "Vox Man" Snow

Actually, that raises a question: Once they've accepted the tracks, should I send an invoice? Via mail, email? I suppose I'll just ask how they prefer to be billed, but I'm new to that end of things. _________________ Corey "Vox Man" Snow

Good for you and yes, email them an invoice. Send a hard copy via snail mail, too if that's what they want; but as someone wiser than me said, "the job's not done until the invoice has been sent." _________________ Be well,

And it's not really done until the invoice is sent and the payment is received.

congratulations, and many happy residuals in the future!
i'll second what bob says: unless they specify otherwise, most work with invoices which are sent via email.

Congratulations!! And, yes, invoice right away!! Paypal is always good, too...and lots of clients like to pay with a credit card. It eats into your profits a bit with the fee, but you can either add a bit to your quote or just figure it's the cost of doing business and getting paid immediately!! In fact, for many clients, I require payment before I send complete audio files.....Haven't been burned often, but once too many. I always use it if I have any hesitancy about a client at all - and often when I don't. _________________ SaVoa #08019
