I had a similar idea in the early days. I wanted a gigantic U87 across my back. But I couldn't afford the mic or the tat, so I had the guy draw an RE20 on my forehead with a Sharpie.
At least, he SAID it was an RE20.

Is that an MHK-416 or are you just glad to see me?

That's.............. a little extreme. _________________ The Blog:

Some of us handle loss in different ways. A tattoo may not be the best way to express honor or admiration. Time will indeed distort an image in a few years, and a good tattoo is quite expensive. Those dollars could have been better directed as a donation to the Don LaFontaine Voice-Over Lab. _________________ "Bailey"

I was thinking of getting a tattoo on my butt that says "If you can read this, you're too close".
As for Mr. Sheppard's tat of the Don, whether it's a form of homage, love, grief or artistic expression, matters not to me. If it makes him ahppy, then great.
As for the comment about using the money instead as a donation to the Don LaFotaine Voice-Over Lab, how do you know that he hasn't done that as well, or what else he may be doing to help this planet and its inhabitants?
I was thinking of going out and having a nice meal tonight, but perhaps I should sit in the dark and eat Top Ramen, so I can beef up my donation to Save the Children. _________________ j.s. gilbert

He would and having joined JS for breakfast I am able to testify he would make it hugely entertaining. VOICE2010, Sunday breakfast, too much food and a laugh a minute. |
