|

I am very excited ... my new album is available today from CDBaby.com. It's been 8 months in the making with my partner Vlad, and we're champing at the bit to see where this takes us!
I hope some of my VO friends will give it a listen - there's 2 minutes of each track to listen to on the CDBaby page:
http://cdbaby.com/cd/moontripper
I'd put this in the Critique section, since there's a little bit of VO on the track Maybe, but since there's no opportunity to change anything and it's all set in plastic now.
Wish us luck please! |

I'm afraid that Euro Trance music is lost on an old Rock n Roll guy like myself, but you have a wonderful voice. I hope you do very well with this CD.

Thanks Bruce - I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, and thanks for listening, and for the compliment! |

I'm more in line with Bruce...a long time rock and roller, but I gave it a listen and I actually really like it! It's very good. Your voice is what really makes it for me. Good job....I think you got something there! _________________ TG2

Another report from the rock/geezer section... this genre isn't my thing either...but I recognize talent when I hear it!
I wish you much success! _________________ . If at first you don't succeed, then bomb disposal probably isn't for you. |

Thanks so much to the old rockers! (from an old raver!)
Your encouragement is very warming and appreciated.

I have Gold and Platinum's from Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, A Taste of Honey, Herb Alpert, Lou Rawls, and many, many others... I broke many records into airplay in radio during my day, and being in the right market helps. They used to give us Gold and Platinum records when they achieved their mark...
Also, during my day, we created products for recording studios and artists such as ultra-quiet tube pre-amps... which when used on their records they would give us Gold and Platinum plaques for helping them reach their dream...
They are great memories, but they are also nothing special... and that stuff is in the past... look for what you are capable of achieving. It doesn't matter what I have done, it matters what I am doing, and the same goes for you.
Anyone on the Board remember the Stevens 24 track Reel-to-Reel recorders? I know, it is probably way past many of you... Now you know that I am old, fat, and sassier....isn't it great....?
Kat, you are one HOT artiste... make it happen for you!

I listened to 3 of them. Not from my era (50's and 60's) but I liked what I heard. Yes... I liked them very much.

Good job Kat, but I am with the other Rock geeseers. You ought to contact one of my old radio buddies who is doing morning drive in Chicago at station that plays dance music. Let me know by PM if you want his info.
And Frank, remember the crummy old Wollensacks and the Ampex decks? Was it the Gates tripple cart decks? I am not sure of the brand it has been so long.

Oh, my, my, my....Cart decks and Wollensacks... and Teac/Tascam... the good ol' days of radio... 45's spinning on a turntable... I know, "What's a turntable ya' old codger...?" Today it's RAM and ROM and iPods and XBox's and... I'm getting too old for this...
Kat, however, sounds so good, it makes me want to do radio again... not really - but Spacegypsy still sounds good to these ol' ears.
