I am wondering if anybody has had experience with the RME Babyface interface. It's relatively new. I'm a huge fan of RME products, but I can't seem to find anybody who has experience with this particular item. I simply get the old, if it's from RME, then it must be top of the line, but with so many decent USB interface solutions out there, one wonders if at $749 street price, this gets as good and clean a sound as the RMW hammerfall cards (for example).

Not adverse to it being double what some of its competitors cost, if it is that much more reliable and delivers a final product that is super clean.

Thanks.

Looks like that bad boy just hit the streets. I can find nary a review online at this stage.

I'd be curious as well as to how this compares to the Apogee One/Duet/ or Tc Electronics konnekt 6

It seems weird to see third party interfaces now advertised as "ProTools 9 Compatible"

Love to see a comparison to the SoundDevices USBPre 2. Sound Devices products are professional, field quality units with incredibly low noise preamps.
