I can't claim spineyness because it wasn't a situation that called for me to stick to my guns with a low-baller. In this case, it was just a job posted with one of those annoying price ranges and my quote was at the high end of the range because that's what I felt it was worth.
Here's the feedback I received from the guy who hired me: "Lee was a godsend for us voicing a promo script for a book about how New Orleans celebrated the Super Bowl Saints. He came in at the top end of the price range submitted by 20-plus respondents to our project, but there was never any doubt, based on his bang-on reading of our audition script, that he was our guy."
Apparently not everybody is looking to hire the lowest bidder, even on the P2P sites. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

I'd say this qualifies as spine. You knew what you were worth and didn't let the budget range undervalue you. Kudos. _________________ Jeff

Quality will always win out with a quality producer. Nicely done, on several levels, Lee!
