I get pointless emails every so often from Voicecasting in Atlanta but this audition I just couldn't resist. For the LA market a movie trailer type voice for a commercial promoting a play.

The "Smucker's Guy" for those who may not know was Mason Adams... one of the most distinctive and unique voices ever.

If my ears do not decieve me, they have a Mason Adams impersonator, now. There is just a slight hint of more bass and youth.

Personally I think it should be Bruce.

When I first got on this board a year ago and started listening to everyone's demos on their websites, I listened to Bruces and the first thing I thought was "I know he can't be the Smucker's guy, he's too young, but...damn..."

Didn't Mason play the city editor in "The Lou Grant" TV show?
Humbly submitted:

Dave,

As a matter of fact, he did. Which only goes to show we either watch too much television or it's an occupational hazard gone awry!
