Playing catch with the dog.
A hot cup of strong coffee.
Dark chocolate.
and
Return clients that:
1.) Send you work on a regular basis,
2.) Know your rate and don't haggle every script.
3.) Pay on time every time.
Really. It's that simple. |

That's pretty much my business model. With one addition:
4.) Regular/repeat clients who over the months and years grow into friends. Priceless.
