OK, here's a weird one:

(Used both Audition and Audacity) to record some demo music from a stream. But at 44.1 K (and 88.2k, 96k and 192k) the music sounds (and is) slowed down.

At 48k it sounds and times out closer to the original.
Any idea what is going on?

The stream might be at 48Khz, which means you have to record at the same sample rate to avoid issues.
