Need some belly laughs? This weekend it was a "Joke" show filled with all kinds of humor, corny, naughty, and downright hilarious. I guffawed many times listening to it...almost had to pull over while driving. I've only listened to part of it, but my favorite so far starts, "How'd you get that shiner?".

Here's a link. You can't download a complete podcast (a music rights issue) but you can listen to it all off of their server:

Teehee,

Thanks for the heads up, Bruce! I love the Joke Shows!

Went and saw Keillor with the Portland Symphony at the Arlene Schnitzer concert hall there in Portland probably 10-12 years ago now. Very fun.

PHC has gotten us through many a long drive and/or snowy evening at home. Have seen the show several times "live" and loved it!

Missed this year's show (will have to check the link), but I still tell a joke I heard on an earlier edition. It's a knock-knock joke. No, really.

#1: Knock Knock!
#2: Who's There?
#1: Control Freak!
#2: --
#1: (grabbing #2 by the shoulders) Now *you* say: "Control Freak Who?"

I've been a fan of PHC since I was a kid.

Finally got to see a live PHC show in Knoxville last year and it was fantastic. I'd been in contact with the show's vocal SFX master, Fred Newman, for many years, and he got me a backstage pass. Didn't get to meet Garrison, but had a chance to meet one of the show's producers and visit with Fred for a bit. Here's proof!

I'm hoping I'll get to see another live show in March when they're in Nashville:
