I've done quite a few audio books over the years, but most have resided on more obscure sites. I've now been doing books for University Press Audiobooks and two titles have recently been added to Audible.com, as well as the UPA site. It feels good.
I have no control over the clips they use for samples I'm guessing, and the clip they chose for my favorite book so far, Bound Away, a book on the history of migration into and out of the colony and then state of Virginia, is the relatively dry preface. The book has some really great stories of the bold, and often crazy people who tried to establish colonies in the New World. If you're interested, here's a minute clip about one of those characters:

If you know someone who would enjoy going deep into the history of Virginia, it's quite appealing.

Congrats on being listed on Audible, Bruce! It's a good feeling, ain't it? I have a bunch of titles listed on Audible but for the life of me I can't get in the door to be one of their narrators. It's not gonna stop me from knockin' on it, though...! _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!
