Surgery went great on the eyelid. They removed the "mass"... should have results of the biopsy in a few days. I only needed vicadin the first night, haven't needed any since. Frozen peas are keeping the swelling down. I can see out of that eye better now... no double vision. I'm taking antibiotics, predizone, and other eye drops. I get to see the doctor on Monday for a follow-up. I've still got my pipes... but I wont be doing any TV commercials real soon. The photo was taken last night. They drew the arrow over my eye to make sure they did the correct one. There's just a little blood... so it's up to you.

Thanks again for the prayers... good thoughts... and good wishes. Next stop is Thursday when I take my wife in. Looks like we're finally getting our money's worth out of Pacificare.

I'm glad someone made sure-- with a sharpie-- that they operated on the correct eye. _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

Glad to see you back. Last year I had minor surgery and they also drew a big arrow on me in black magic marker. Took for ever to wash off! _________________ Elaine

Well Alrighty! Now - we are expecting another round of good news, soon!
I had a couple of sties removed from an eye lid a few years ago. Watching that big ol' knife come at the eye ain't the easiest thing in the world! Neither is sitting still when he started scraping - - but the anesthetic did start working shortly after he fininshed. |

Glad to hear you are doing better. I always thought "minor surgery" was something that happens to someone else.
Hope all is weel with your wife soon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you two.

I spent most of the day (Thursday) in the waiting room. My wife's surgery was very successful. The cancer did not go beyond the uterine wall... no additional "radical" surgery was necessary! I'll be bringing her home today, and the doctors say that her recovery may only take 2 weeks. Friends and neighbors have offered lots of help. I'll be in casserole heaven. Thanks again for all the prayer and good thoughts.
Here's looking at you kid

Great news! That is what we have been waiting to hear. Keep us updated on you and your wifes recovery.
Now it's time to get ready to celebrate with your spouse... eat some "casserole" for us...

Bailey......You need to put your foot down and tell your wife to quit sluggin you in the eye when you disagree with her! It could get a little suspicious if you have to keep telling everyone you had surgery on your eye over and over again! Seriously....I'm glad everything went well, and glad your back.
The best to your wife and let her know I wasn't serious.
