VO-BB - 19 YEARS OLD!

So, I got in the booth at 5:30a yesterday to get a head start on the day, after finishing three scripts I sent out the audio receiving this with a note from the producer saying someone added extra copy to the mortgage spot, it had to be voiced again, at no expense to them! After a few additional notes and a telephone phone message, they said they were able to track it back to their intern, but they still wanted it voiced again.

Gotta run ... definitely more later, this was very good....

Turns out it all ended up being an hour long 'live' commercial prank which, unfortunately for me, played out to the producer's expectations.... I had absolutely NO clue. Basically, "What if we play a live April fools on the vo talent." Best marketing I've seen yet.

.... I don't recommend anyone try this.

As the song goes, "Everybody plays the fool, no exceptions to the rule." It was your standard play-on morning show joke, I'm just one of the people who didn't know.
