Hi gang! Here is a pre-master mix of my first commercial demo. Please have a listen and I'd appreciate some feedback. Smile

Thanks!

I liked the brief intro and the demo was your voice, best foot forward in every respect.

With creative and tenacious marketing there's work out in the market for you.

Hey, I wish my first demo sounded nearly as good. Folks in the biz are getting away from name introductions up front, but in your case it's important and it was handled nicely.

Your voice needs to "pop out" a bit more from the music. You have a soft voice, which is fine, but right now it's laying a bit flat in the music beds. You indicated that it's not fully mixed yet, so a bit of compression to brighten it may do the trick.

Go get 'em!

Thank you Bruce, and I think you're right about the mix.

Sounds nice- the intro does work, cleverly done too. The only things I heard was as Bruce said, your voice is kind of lying low in the music at a couple of points, and in the GMC ad, it felt like you went into "announcer" mode a bit and the delivery sounded sort of artificial.

Thanks Corey. I appreciate the suggestions. There was another spot that I didn't include because of time, and I may consider swapping it for the GMC spot. Thanks Again!
