With the above-noted resource extensions added to the base Web services standards, coupled with distributed resource sharing across organizational boundaries afforded by grid computing protocols, it is easy to envision configurations wherein commercial enterprises will build out data centers scaled for normalized capacity demands, and will outsource excess capacity requirements to service providers offering risk mitigation for unforeseen spikes in demand.
That was one of those where after I read it, I half-waited for the client to say "Huh?" Thankfully, she instead said "I don't know how the hell you made that make sense." |
