So I'm recording an audiobook this afternoon when I had an unexpected visitor come tapping at my door (sitting outside of my window actually). Quoth the visitor.....well, I'll let you hear for yourself:

http://soundcloud.com/bruce-miles/sound-proofing-challenge

Once or thrice a week she comes and voices her complaints(?) for about ten minutes or so and then leaves. She got me mid-session this time.

Oh Bruce - you are cracking me up! Loved the clip you posted.

That's one loud bird. Glad she only visits once a week! Sarcastic

Cool! I've save that bit if I were you. You might need it one day for a SFX - and the real bird will be nowhere to be seen then! Wink

Boy can I relate! For me it's a woodpecker who occasionally visits to tap on the metal flashing around my dormer window. And since they're a protected species, I'm helpless to do much about it.

Bruce,

Wow! Mr. Bird doesn't seem to pay much attention to you, does he?

I think the bird would do well to take some improv classes first.
