I'm sure there are days Ted, the formerly homeless "VO guy", praises and curses the day he was discovered by the side of the road. The new-found media-created fame is clearly taking its toll. Here's the full story and then an excerpt below:
http://tinyurl.com/3pc2emc
Quote: | His manager Al Battle tells us that after a joint decision between Williams and himself, they've decided to send him back to Origins in Texas, to commit to a 90-day program.
"All of the shooting for his reality show has taken a serious toll on him," Battle said. "This is not a trip back to rehab because of a drug or alcohol relapse. It's all emotional. Ted is exhausted."
Battle added that getting Williams away from the spotlight for a while would be the "right start."
"It was more of an emotional thing. He just needed to get back to his psychologists," Battle said, adding that the program Williams is entering is "intensive" and that he will embrace the treatment this time around. |
I sure hope the media don't totally ruin their new toy.

"Chapter 7" is right. hopefully he'll be able to "liquidate" 98% of the hangers-on and enablers and get on with his life. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

Ye gods. From "Homeless" to "Reality Show" in less than 60 seconds.
I s'pose it's enough to emotionally flay anyone. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

well you can add one more item to the resume of Ted Williams. He was the question to an answer on Jeopardy yesterday. (Remember Jeopardy is backwards, you have to answer in the form of a question)
The category was 2011 news stories, and the answer went something like this:
He was the homeless man from Ohio who was discovered and became famous for his golden voice (may not be exact wording, but it was close to that)
None of the panel came up with the right question |
