Mr. Jackson will always live in infamy in my mind for his performance in Deep Blue Sea, and especially for his mini-monologue right before his... uh, departure from the film.
If I were male, I would absolutely do that monologue for an audition, complete with abrupt ending. But maybe performing that bedtime story as a monologue would be even better... _________________ Always look on the bright side of life.

416? Yes, but by the time Audible sucks 98% of the digital information out of an audio track to make it fit on your iPod, it doesn't matter if it was recorded with $27 Radio Shack special.

So cool! There was just a story about the author in The Guardian newspaper this past week-end. I don't think there was ever any f n body better at *bleep*ing narrations of this kind than Samuel f n L Jackson. He wore that word out, along with another naughty word, in the aime film "Afro Samurai". _________________ Intuit and do it!

A friend with kids sent that to me, saying she just about peed herself listening to it.
Guess the author hit a nerve somewhere...

Jackson and Herzog rule. I kicked off the week with work on a youth-targeted story read and must admit when I saw this I was like "Ah, celebs have all the fun..." but I admit the find made for a great end to the week all the same. _________________ Scott Reyns, voice talent serving major metros (San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York) and beyond |
