I just joined the forum today and thought I'd say hello and introduce myself!

Hello!

I'm Atticus and I want to be a voice-actor. I did theater throughout high school and found out that I wanted to be some sort of entertainer for a living. I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm adamant about learning.

I look forward to interacting with all you peoples!

Welcome aboard, Atticus! I've been in the biz a long time but just recently joined the VO-BB myself, and already I've made wonderful contacts with several of the very talented and friendly VO pros around here. I'm certain you're going to learn a bunch as you begin your journey...and you'll make some friends, too.

Ask away if you have questions - there are so many folks with such vast and varied backgrounds, I'm sure there's hardly anything you could think of that won't be capably answered.

P.S. You do realize, as the *new* guy, that you'll have the llama duty...right? Wink

Wow....Shock really lucked out there on the whole Llama duty. Rolls Eyes

Welcome Atticus, totally cool name btw. I've been making it up as I go along and it's working well so far (25 years total- 8 of them full time). Good luck on your journey- there's so much more information and training available thanks to the interwebs now....but the hard part with that is - there's a lot of CRAP and a lot of idgeets blah blah blahing about stuff they no not of....so do weed through the info carefully and keep what works FOR YOU and chuck the rest.

You've found the best little corner of the web for VOs here. Glad to have you in the fun house.
