VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

So...

...

for what remains of this week I'm anchoring morning business reports for the Wall St. Journal (which I occasionally do) for 8 cities across the country - from Albany to Chicago to Dallas to San Francisco and in between - and it struck me this morning - I have VO peeps in every city I'm airing in.

And that's almost entirely due to this home Deirdre has made for us here.

It's a timely realization because Monday will be my third year as a full-time VO - after roughly 2 decades part-time, and in a few weeks it'll be my fourth year here on this board openly - though I lurked for years. And my life is so different now from what it was than back then.
It wasn't bad. In fact it was pretty good. But it's so. much. better. now.

And that's because of Deebs and you guys and this home.

So - thank you...

+1 For a variety of reasons, this place has helped me in ways that go way beyond VO.

We're all very blessed to have it.

Well, I feel exactly the same way, Melissa. I enjoyed meeting you in Atlanta along with all the others there. And I'm truly thankful for all DB does so we can gather around the virtual VO water cooler on a regular basis.
